Hi all,
Ok, so given up on my boot issue for the moment (
http://www.infinitemac.com/f5/adding...install-t2418/), the only other thing that is not working quite properly on my system is the networking.
The network itself works fine - I'm using the machine for WoW most nights and am using it right now, but I think there may be a problem with AFP?
Basically, my real Macs (my MBPro and my wife's MB) both show up on the network as Windows PC's, and consequently things like Screen Sharing are not available. Also my 1TB Time Capsule also shows up as a Windows PC, so doesn't appear in Time Capsule settings at all. The Time Capsule is also not found by Airport Utility.
I've applied the "Ethernet EFI String (Time Machine Fix)" to the boot plist using "Universal OSx86 Installer" but it hasn't made any difference.
Any other ideas? Is this a known issue, or am I on my own on this one?
Mobo is a Gigabyte EP35-DS4 and the network is the built in. LSPCI reports it as a RealTek RTL8111/8168B. Install was from iPC 10.5.6, apart from a couple of minor tweaks things are pretty much stock. Only additional driver I added was for the sound (889A maybe?)
Thanks for any help!
