Yep... It was the newer kext... The one from damnesiac worked!! I have VPN again... Yay! Ok, now back to fixing the freezing issue... Since I have EFI installed now will see if that will fix the issue when I enable both cores...

If this works I will feel silly... I should have tried this at the beginning!
