no ethernet help plz

Hi.
first, THANK YOU LAWLESSPPC! (lawlessppc 10.5.4 AMD phenom)
first distro EVER to successfully get past installation and WORK 100%, well, 99.9%.
i have an AMD 9500 quad core, and as far as i can tellm a Nvidia nForce network controller.
i just cant get it to show up in my network.
i have tried 3 different kexts by searching through google (forcedeth, some other one and another one...) using kext installer, reboot and nothing.
does anyone have a fix or advice for this?
i really dont wanna buy a network card since i had to pay for a usb mosue and keyboard already.

Hiya I have a 9600 phenom system with an nforce chipset also. I used nForceLAN on 10.5.4 but that would not work in 10.5.5 when i updated. I then used forcedeth and that works great.

I have upped the nForceLAN kext here for you to try out.

Hope it helps

Get the driver from the original thread and you can ask the developer if it doesn't work for you.

Anyway, we need more details of your motherboard so we can give you better instructions.
