Ok, I'm asking this because it seems to be the issue of the moment, since I believe nobody has found a way to properly determine the NVCAP value inside NVInject which enables TV-out or various dual display configurations. I want to hear other users' experience, does anyone use TV-out under leopard? If so, how to determine the proper NVCAP value for individual configurations? (As I understand it, the proper NVCAP value is different depending on what monitors you have connected at boot on what ports). TV-out was working fine for me in Tiger, using Natit injector, yet in Leopard it seems to be a whole different matter...
Things I've tried: 1. Found the proper NVCAP for my card by backing up my VGA BIOS and then using NVCAP Maker to generate it --> no TV-out. 2. Determined the proper EFI string for my 7600 GS card and put it inside boot.plist --> no TV-out. 3. Tried various NVCAP values suggested on NVInject site --> no TV-out. So, what's the deal with this? Impossible to do at present? What is your experience with TV-out? 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
