i am allways on 32 bit mode, never tried 64 (but i will). I said that i dont need that 64 bit ATA driver becouse i already installed it. And i had none of those problems you posted.

About quick time: I never use it so i dont actually have that problem. My favourite player is VLC and i dont need others. I use it in windows and osx. and when i scale movie on full screen (my monitor 1680x1050) it eats from 6-to 7 CPU and it doesnt need any codecs everything integrated.
