ok, ive got to the stage where i can install mac os x, my hard drive is seen, everythings been partitioned, all the right stuff has been added

then when it tries to install, it says:
Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer
The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install.

if i let it read the disk for consistency, it says that the disk cannot be read and i should carefully clean the disk

ive burnt the image multiple times at 4x and 1x, but it keeps happening. what should i do?

btw, its a compaq laptop, Nforce 430/410 sata chipset, Nvida 6150 Go. its all recognised in the installer though, so it shouldnt have a problem. im using zeph's 10.5.2 rev 1 disk

thanks
