Installation was successful.
When I start up, it seems to stall out and I have to move the trackpad in order for the startup to progress (either that or plug in a Griffin PowerMate). I also have no wireless. I looked at the wiki and it linked to a fix, but it looked like it was for an older release (it looked like Tiger). Would that work even though it looks like it's for Tiger? I have an Acer 5050 with the following: - Atheros internal wireless card - sb460 (I don;t exactly remember, but I installed Leo with the sb400 chipset drivers) - AMD Athlon tk-53 - 4GB (2x2GB) 667 RAM You guys have been so helpful. Thanks for all the help in the past. This is all that separates me from enjoying Leo on my laptop. |

I have tried to follow the directions and looked into NetworkInterfaces.plist
and my wireless card is not there. The only thing that shows up is my ethernet adapter (which is working quite nicely since I am posting while using it). Are there any suggestions on where I should go next? Thanks a bunch. |

Myself I had succesfully installed Atheros based wi-fi with IO80211Family.kext from 10.4.8 with Pacifist.
You must insert your DevID,VenID in that AirportAtheros5424.kext"s info.plist under IONameMatch. Actually mine is 168c,13 |

Does Toast 9 work for you? If I use all 4GB in use the computer crashes while burning or even writing an image. I have to use a limiting option that I only can use 3 GB.

Yes, I had it working on 10.5.2, but after update to 10.5.3 stopped working.
Right now I have other issues to have fixed. I believe, with newer kernel will work for sure. |
