Safe-mode causes kernel panic (pmap_steal_memory) voodoo/osx10.5.5
Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.0 Voodoo Release 1.0
panic cpu 0 caller 0x0017DE2F): "pmap_steal_memory"@/VoodooKernel/xnu-1228.78/osfmk/vm/vm_resident.c:628
Hiya guys
DOn't know if any one can help but when I try to load up in safemode (-x) i get a kernel panic with an error as above.
I am running 10.5.5 with the above kernels. normal mode is fine (so it seems) (no acc-gfx as this is from a backup made prior to gfx driver installation
This happens everytime, not a random thing
(wierd I somehow managed to get a similar error when loading up from installer using the presintalled kernel on lawless dvd)
any help gratefully appreiciated as always
kindest regards
KusariNinja
