[SOLVED]Easy One how do I mount HDD and restore com.apple.boot.plist via DVD terminal

Here's the thing, I st my Chameleon 2 timeout to -1 thinking it'd remove the timeout and wait for my selection. (it was 8AM and had been up all night) don't know why I didn't just remove the number. (thats how right?) I have an AMD with ideneb 10.5.8 update and need to type voodoo at the command prompt to boot right. How do I mount the HDD via the install DVD's terminal and edit or restore from backup, my com.apple.boot.plist? I have a triple boot setup and have rendered ALL of my OS's inoperable! LOL A little help would be appreciated.

BTW, Can't I just rename voodoo to mach_kernel and delete the vanilla kernel to make voodoo the default, Or do I change the string in com.apple.boot.plist from mach_kernel to voodoo?

????????(fsck -fy and mount -uw /)????????

Thanks

Ok, Solved this one. Heres how I did it:

1. booted up normally, while holding the F8 key. was greeted by the Chameleon OS selector screeen

2. started normally with the voodoo -v

3. edited com.apple.boot.plist and made the following changes:

3a. removed number from timeout string

3b. changed kernel string from "mach_kernel" to voodoo to make it the default kernel

3c. (optional) added -v flag to kernel flag string section so it boots into verbose mode by default
