after installing ideneb distro there is a strange effect concerning airport. during setup no patch was installed for wireless. after bootup airport was detected and seemed to work properly, but no network will be detected; no connection to a SSID specified network (timed out) i was wondering that creating a network will function(!?) tried a new setup with broadcom patch - the same issue/problem ![]() also tried the broadcom_enabler_script (0.5.2) - no success ![]() in former times airport works well under 10.4.8 and 10.5.2 does anyone have an idea how to fix this? many thnx. gtx sniper EDIT: does anyone know whether a "dell truemobile 1450 - bcm4309 minipci" adapter work with leopard >10.5.2 or not? here are my system specs: intel p4/3ghz sse2 msi ms-7048 oem 1gb dual channel ram via rhine III ethernet on-board ac97/ich5 sound on-board (realtek 8086/24d5) dell minipci truemobile 1450 (bcm4309) 14e4/4324 nvidia gforce 6200 agp, 512mb 250gb ata100 hd, 7200rpm (mac os) primary slave 200gb ata100 hd, 7200rpm (win) primary master sony ide dvd-rom pioneer ide dvd-rw Last edited by sniperviper; 10-26-2009 at 06:29 PM. |
