In the bios I disable Raid and put Raid in AHCI and the leopard work perfect all, video, sound (only 3 channels), network,
But I try to boot in windows and windows crash, so I need change the RAID to IDE, and Windows work perfect, what is the problem ?, if I boot with the windows configuration RAID=IDE, for MAC mac send me a message waiting for root device, so I dont know whats is the problem to have a dual boot, and dont need change the bios config,
I doesnt install the SB600_SATA_ATA im try this nigt...

In the K9A2 Platinum (I have that motherboard also) how do you set the Raid to AHCI in the Bios? I cant find that option. Are you able to boot into leopard from your SATA hard drive? I'm asking because I'm not sure if Zeph 10.5.1 or Zeph 10.5.2 supports the 790FX chipset (I'm assuming both distributions already support SB600).

My setup is a 500GB drive, with Leopard only (no windows dual boot)

When I get the "Installation Complete" and reboot, I'm getting the "still waiting for root device" error.

thanks

John
