Lawless:
Well, that's the DVD I'm currently using; the 10.5.2 Rev.2. Yeah, I've also figured out that something is a little weird... But I managed to solve my problem: I reconnected my old IDE Seagate 120GB HDD and installed OS X on it, speeds when installing are incredible! :-) Almost the speed you would get when installing on a real mac ^^ Everything now installs right and so, but now I have a new problem: After install, on initial boot, after the apple logo has gone away and the "OS config manager" is supposed to come up (where you put in username etc.) my screen gets all messed up! I see broad stripes, in colors shifting from black, red, white and blue. When I move my mouse I sometimes see a little white stripe moving on the screen.. Is this a well known problem? I've tried both of the two drivers for my card in the install with no success, I've also tried using none of them, and both together, but no luck. Perhaps I should try using only 2GB of RAM instead of 4GB?
My GFX card is a Powercolor HD3870 btw.
For your information Lawless, without your help I most surely would still have been stuck with my SATA-2 drive! Most appreciated! :-)
