Well, to install OSX you have to prepare a partition for it, because the installer cannot create a partition, it can only partition whole disk to as many partitions as you want. So if you alread have Vista installed on C, prepare next partition in any file systems you want ( Fat, ntfs etc. ) which you will reformat inside the installer to HFS+ system. It can erase just the one partition and use it for OSX. If anything goes wrong, you can always reformat it again for windows.

About chameleon, if you`ll use relese like iPC or any new releases, you really dont have to bug yourself with bootloader - it will install it automaticly, mark active partition etc. but OSX will be set as a default OS ( you`ll be able to change that later ). Umm, dont know if i answered the exact question. Well, if something`s up, ask.
