it doesnt delete old ones until it gets to a certain time, the only way i could see is that you could maybe make an image of the current backup drive, put that somewhere then delete everything on the backup drive and then start a new backup, and if you every need to go really far back you can just restore the images of the backup disks you previously made, tedious i know but i guess thats what you have to do. Or you could just buy a bigger hard drive, they are fairly cheap these days
