from what i read it seems that it looks like its the underlying connections and settings for a network and tries to set up instant network access for any devices that are bonjour compatible before it even gets to the GUI

i let one of my friends borrow my laptop and he thought that the partion with mac os x was unformatted space so he formatted it!!!! (last i ever let someone admin acess )
even worse in my troubles is that my leo4all dvd just went out saying that it failed the integrity check (i deleted the iso because i wanted to keep my laptop have as much free space as possible
so i am again in the process of "acquiring" it.....
well a least have the weekend now ....lol
