People, please! I am stuck with this problem already a week - google , insanelymac,osx86.scene etc. are not helpful.
I read very carefully what it say in verbose mode and the only wrong thin i see is : "display: family matching failed" what should i change. I have the acces to the instalation throu macdrive, so how can i help him to identify my display. It is analog. Already tried to connect it with dvi adapter - all the same. |

Try removing all nvidia kexts in single user mode (boot with -s, mount -uw /)
NV* Ge* etc in your /System/Library/Extensions folder |

btw, it would also help if you could post ALL of the output you get while booting in -v (maybe a camera shot?)

OK, I will try to make a foto.
Out of my head after thet "display" message is says: nvhal50 loaded and registered, then nvinject - something like 10 lines, evererything ok and then loginwindow application strted, and then gos to that gray/bleuwish screen with mouse pointer intermittently rolling.... |

I solved the problem without knowing what is it....:
Maybe it can help others. Ive installed leo on old IDE (!) HD - did work, but 10G is not enough normal functioning, so just restored image on my big SATA drive - repaired disk and permisions and now I'm able to load it from SATA.everething works (ethernet, sound -ac97), BUTvideo-gf8500gt, 512Mb - when i drag windows, the contents of the window becomes scrambled. The drivers i used - zeph's nvinject+512 extention. What can it be? 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
