Hello!
Usb not working for me on amd 10.5.1 rev1. Keyboard and mouse is ok but none of my other usb devices are detected. Disable legacy support in bios is not an option for me, i have to navigate my grub menu. I downloaded the supplied iousbfamily.kext Didn't work. Any ideas? My specs A8N32-SLIDeluxe amd x2 4400+ XFX7900gs 2gig RAM |

disabling the legacy IS an option for you. while you are running OSX run Terminal:
sudo nano /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist edit the kernel flag to run "-v" at boot and then try the different options in start-up this way: ie) -legacy, -v, etc. ![]() |

I think you can check this in system profiler by clicking on system.kext and see it says satisfied |

I have the same problem here. My first problem was "About This Mac" crashes, so I employed the solution pointed here
http://osx86.wikidot.com/known-issues#toc6 using the AppleSMBIOS.kext found at netkas. After the reboot, 'About This Mac' works, but now all my USB devices aren't working except for the USB mouse [the keyboard is a PS/2 attached to a USB adapter]. Looked at System.kext [same as kernel 9.2.0] in System Profiler and it says all Dependencies are satisfied. Any help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated.
