If the camera comes with a microphone input cable (the same kind like on headphones), it shouldn't be hard to get the mic working.
If, however, the camera uses the USB for the mic as well, and said cam has no Mac driver, you're just gonna have to get another mic unless there's some hack I don't know of. Sorry.
