Which VMware config + iDeneb patches to choose..
Hello.
I am running my installation on the following system: Software: Microsoft Vista Business VMware Workstation 6.5.2 iDeneb 1.4 MacOSX 10.5.6 Hardware: Modell: Lenovo ThinkPad T400 2765D2G Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz Motherboard: Lenovo ThinkPad T400, Intel Cantiga GM45 IDE Controller: Intel® ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller Video: Switchable Graphics: Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family, ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 256 Audio: Conexant Cx20561 @ Intel 82801IB ICH9 LAN-NIC: Intel 82567LM Wireless: Intel WiFi Link 5300AGN Firewire Controller: Ricoh RL5C832 Quote:

I managed to run the installation setup with the vmx-file posted here. I can install MacOSX. Though, I got 2 main problems that I cannot solve: 1) Reboot not possible / Harddrive not found After the installation I got the following problems: I cannot reboot the system without leaving the iDeneb disc inside the cd drive. Otherwise VMware prompts the error: Operation System not found. (For this reason I can also not boot in single mode since I cannot use a command prompt.) 2) Keyboard and mouse madness When using the MacOSX the keyboard and mouse get made! The keyboard continues writing the same letter at random moments and at random keys. The mouse moves up menu items to the top one without that I move the device. This is very annoying. iDeneb Patches / Customize setup: If anybody could tell me what patches I have to use to make it working - that would be great. The latest I used the following...

May be this is a silly question but I presume, you made this screenshot while installation. If so, how did you manage to get this shot?
I am on a way to install Hackintosh but before venturing, trying to get max. guidance. Thanks in advance. Trying to install Hackintosh on HP a1219, Athlon 64 (V) 3400+ 2.2 GHz, MSI-7184, AC97 Audio Controller (Realtek ALC658C 6-channel CODEC chipset) , ATI Radeon Xpress 200, Realtek 8100C Onboard LAN, 1GB RAM, 1TB SATA (or 60GB IDE connected through SATA-to-IDE connector), Pioneer DVD burner, PS2 keyboard and mouse, 6 USB & 2 firewire ports |

hey zipcode.
i ended up using the preinstalled osx in vmware. all i did was to download the vmware package 10.5.2. i had no more time to waste since all i wanted was to use xcode. good luck and pls report on your work. cheers, aussenboarder. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
