Won't Boot After Install

Hey everyone. Before I continue to show my 'noob-ness', let me reassure you that I have searched the forum. Now that that's out the way...

I have installed LawlessPPC 10.5.4 successfully, but I would like to upgrade seeing as I'm using pro apps (Logic, Final Cut, ect.). Every distro I've tried (iDeneb 1,3, Leo4All 4.1, iPC 10.5.6) will install fine, but when it reboots and the bootloader comes up for me to select athe OS, it starts to load, then restarts itself. I would appreciate any help I can get, even a few bashings, lol. Its probably something as simple as updating the bootloader, but how do I do it from the XP side? Or can it be done in Terminal when your installing the DVD? Thanks so much everyone. BTW, my specs are in my sig

59 views and no answers? lol is anyone else having this issue? i'm still scouring the web for answers and when i get one, i will be back!
