@ zephyroth:
If it's so problematic to find answers then start a new thread which shows the new features of RC2 only. This would be easier for us and less annoying to you to say everything again and again. But the users (to define: we) must understand that this is a developer's thread only, no posts, questions or anything else from others. It's the only way to keep a short overview of the changes and new features. 2 Opteron systems: OSx86 10.5.8, Andy's 9.8.0 kernel, Asus A8N-SLI Premium, Opteron 185 o'clocked @ 2 x 2,95 GHz (2nd system 2.6 GHz), ATI Radeon HD2600XT 256MB Dual-Monitor 2x HP L2035, 4 GB RAM, Griffin FireWave as main audio device, Marvell + nForce LAN, Asus U3S6 USB3/SATA6 card, 5,5 TB harddisk, Firewire 800 card, Apple Remote + eHome IR receiver, 2x Wacom serial graphics tablet, Canon Pixma iP4700, Logitech Internet Navigator wireless keyboard/mouse combination. Zephyroth, thank you for including ATI 38XX support in revision 2. I have not been able to test your release because I experienced the bootloader issue. When you release revision 2, I will let you know how everything works (including my 3870). I really appreciate your work, thanks =)

another thing: anyone knows about sli support? I have 2 6600gt in sli mode in winxp, but I have to turn to single mode to boot at leo. oh another things that I do NOT KNOW if its appropriate to say here in this topic but if not, just tell me and I remove it. any chance of a genius webcam usb works? and any chance of a genius mousepan tablet 5x4 works? It would be amazing if so... 3rd: 10.5.2 will be support for usb mouse working with ps2 keyboard? it didnīt work in 10.4.9 and 10.5.1. In 10.4.9 i did some mods in the kext to make it, but Iīve got lazy at 10.5.1 haahhaha anyway, canīt wait to use it. bring it on! ![]() |

DoiX:
I install fine it seems(single OS Mac only on IDE) on reboot it has "system config file com.apple.boot.plist not found" I have read that some think it is a bad burn to dvd, or the file itself is bad? twice downloaded and 4 burns with same result. maybe I will have more luck with Rev.2 Thanks again for any help with 1st release and Rev.2 as well! |

My report about Rev.2 Installation:
I'm testing Rev.2 in my notebook: CPU: AMD Mobile Sempron 3400+ (SSE3, 64bit) VGA: Nvidia GeForce Go 6150 Chipset: Nforce MCP51 HD: Fujitsu SATA 40GB LAN: Nvidia Wireless: Broadcom Installation goes fine with some combination. But, after install, when I try to boot with grub I get the message: Invalid or unsupported executable format. Someone have an idea on how to correct this problem? Well, I made something, downloaded netkas pc efi v8 (I have to use some special for amd???) put on grub as kernel, so I get boot on Leo, but, I get message from Nforce Sata driver, something like: AppleNforceAta: scan 1 disks found (... other system messages ...) Until here is ok, but for some reason Leo tries to load again and I receive this: AppleNforceAta: scan 0 disks found AppleNforceAta: sata phy reset failed And... Still waits for root device. Someone can help me? Maybe it could be because on installation I choose to install the newest kernel??? |
