Hi!
Each time when I start the program it asks the password for pop3 and smtp of each account. Passwords in the keychains. Removing of a plist-file doesn't help ![]() |

TyShkan,
I had exactly the same problem. Go to your utilities folder and open keychain access. You should see your pop and smtp addresses in the list. Double click on each, go to the Access Control tab and check 'Allow all applications to access this item'. Mail should work correctly now! ![]() Mac OS X 10.6.4 Retail || Intel Core2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz || Gigabyte G31M-ES2L || GeForce 6600 GT 128MB || Realtek ALC883 Audio || Realtek RTL8169 LAN || Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB HD || Sony Dual Layer IDE DVD RW DW-D22A || Apple Aluminium Keyboard || Mighty Mouse MacBook Pro || 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo || 200Gb HD || 2Gb Ram || NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT iPhone 4 || 16Gb |

I also had this problem, on Tiger and with Cyberduck on Leopard. Start the Keychain tool (in Utilities) and delete the passwords which are used in mail. If the password is entered too often it will possibly saved more than one time. This error also could appear due the mail account itself, f.e. if the mail server has a problem.
haha, Voyn1x was a bit quicker this time ;-) 2 Opteron systems: OSx86 10.5.8, Andy's 9.8.0 kernel, Asus A8N-SLI Premium, Opteron 185 o'clocked @ 2 x 2,95 GHz (2nd system 2.6 GHz), ATI Radeon HD2600XT 256MB Dual-Monitor 2x HP L2035, 4 GB RAM, Griffin FireWave as main audio device, Marvell + nForce LAN, Asus U3S6 USB3/SATA6 card, 5,5 TB harddisk, Firewire 800 card, Apple Remote + eHome IR receiver, 2x Wacom serial graphics tablet, Canon Pixma iP4700, Logitech Internet Navigator wireless keyboard/mouse combination. You may wish to try Microsoft Entourage which comes with Office 2008. It's my favorite e-mail client for Mac.
