Well basically yes as I was still using some 350W ATX 2.0 one (20 Pin Mobo supply on 24 Pin board) - what must have been the main reason for my wifi card not to work. I just had that idea, when I was trying to set up the wifi on Linux without having the kernel module beeing loaded, alltough the firmware was present in /lib

I can confirm that. The BCM4318 PCI NIC for some reason works only without having Device (HPET) in DSDT.... Wherefore I am currently either without having Speedstep & Sleep or without having wireless (If someone has an idea / is able to fix that - let me know...) - but I haven't realy thaught about that issue in your case - sorry about that...
