I can confirm that. The BCM4318 PCI NIC for some reason works only without having Device (HPET) in DSDT.... Wherefore I am currently either without having Speedstep & Sleep or without having wireless (If someone has an idea / is able to fix that - let me know...) - but I haven't realy thaught about that issue in your case - sorry about that...
I have HPET fixed in my dsdt along with a few other fixes, just wanted to post that under 10.6.3 My Dynex PCI Wifi Card is working
