Thanks for your help mate,
I have got v2 with SB700, I looked on the retail box.
Tried it with AHCI and still the same "waiting for root device". (Yes, I have Sata, not IDE)

Now I would like to get the EmpireEFI version with SB700-support instead of SB600-support...

EDIT: I tried to edit it myself, will try to boot now. (I only edited the preboot.dmg - is that enough?)
