Backing up is easy, the question is how the restore would work on a non-efi machine when your system partition wont boot, does CopyCatX's Recovery CD boot in a hackintosh? I suppose it doesnt...
The easiest way IMO is having Chameleon installed in a USB or DVD, booting from there and restoring from Time Machine or any Disk Image based backup using the install DVD.
