Rite of the bat I'm telling u get a retail Snow Leopard DVD and nawcoms BootCD wich is with your config the best to go but thats prob nothing u wanna hear rite now anyway

if your system still in the state of the youtube video go use different boot args like u installed the chocolate kernel so tell him to load in the boot loader too like with

chocolate_kernel -v -f arch=i386 maxmem=4096 busratio=20 (enter)

with that it should get u at least in if your SATA Mode is on AHCI in the bios and u picked the rite SATA Controller

(u wont be able to boot with 8 gig yet as a site note )
