How to check CPU speed/info on Snow Leopard
I've got everything working perfectly on my Snow Leopard install, but I can't find a program that'll monitor my CPU clock speed/voltage/temps to make sure Speed Step is working or that OSX86 isn't making my CPU hotter than its supposed to.

My specs are:
Q8200
Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR
4GB
9600GSO

Everything works fine, but I'm worried I might be slowly killing my machine by using Snow Leopard.

I can monitor my temps with iStats now...

However, is there a way to check the clock speed with iStats, and possibly the voltage?

You can also use latest fakesmc version 2.5 from netkas blog...

It enables the missing devices, needed to read CPU temps using iStat and stuff like that.

^ That's what I used to get the iStat temps, thank you.

My temps are a little high, but I guess I'll live. Do you guys have Speed Step enabled?

I've C1E enabled and judging by the temps, they seem to work. The same temps I'm seeing in Windows.

OOoh... Speed Step works perfect now!

I can't thank you enough! I can only use this inside of 32-bit SL though, correct? It doesn't matter to me, I've never even tried booting into 64-bit mode.
