When i installed the mac os 10.6.8 update the usb functionality stops ? help me????/

everything is good now . but after i have installed the mac os 10.6.8 update
my USB mouse and keyboard does not work and the computer freezed, i have used ps2 keyboard and mouse but nothing changed ?
help me please
