Have you installed patched kernel along with that iHack installer?

Again: When using Myhack installer for initial setup, you need to select the legacy kernel, called "Chocolate Kernel" from that installer. AMD can't boot Vanilla Kernel.
In case of doubt RTFM avaible at the projects homepage. AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail

This can have various reasons, I don't know what Kernel-Version ist beeing installed by that MyHack package - maybe try this or a Kernel version with fixed FSB detection for your CPU.
Could also be an ACPI related problem - maybe try to boot by passing "cpus=1" flag to Kernel... AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail

Don't give up yet. You are able to boot into OS X by EmpireEFI, so there must be a way - can you provide a link to the ISO of EmpireEFI you have been using to install OS X, so that I could see what is beeing used to boot the installation system?
In case of doubt, you could start from scratch install Chameleon and copy the hole content of Preboot.dmg to the installation.^^ AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail

Well OK, the LegacyBootCD.iso you have posted uses old mach_kernel.test7 made by modbin...
Forget about the myHack installer - I would also recommend you to start from scratch and install an untouched system at this point. I took the stuff from Preboot.dmg and removed the PS2, Audio, Intel + JMicron Controller + Batterymonitor Kernel Extensions and put everything together for you: http://www.mediafire.com/?3qmzjn65oyw04g6 After the installation of Snow Leopard, copy the Extra folder + mach_kernel.test7 binary directly into the main folder of your Snow Leopard installation. Then install Chameleon v2 Bootloader manually - you can read about how-to here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=164809 If your system still doesn't boot without the CD at this point, try cpus=1 bootlflag again, it's default in com.apple.Boot.plist present on your EmpireEFI, but I think you should try booting with all cores first. Hope this way we can make Snow Leopard booting w/out the CD for you. ![]() 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers.
