I chose the ASRock Conroe945g-DVI to be a budget hackintosh for my work computer. I chose it because all the hardware seems to be natively supported. Ethernet, and integrated GMA 950 Graphics work out of the box, sound works with a simple mod,

I used a real Mac to partition the Hackintosh Hard drive. Partition 1 is Free Space to install Mac OS (Macintosh HD) and the other partition is 10.6.3 installer image.
I am able to Install 10.6.3 booting with Empire EFI and then installing myHack. The system seems to work flawlessly. I had to modify com.apple.boot.plist to boot 32 bit natively for sound and graphics, but I'm perfectly ok with 32-bit.

However, if I update to 10.6.4 I get Kernel panics. I have tried doing it through the Software Update utility as well as downloading the standalone installer.
