Is snow leopard on usb better than using Hazard Hackintosh Snow Leopard 10.6.6i? If it's the same, then maybe you should just go with Hazard Hackintosh. I use Mod-cd too, but I've only gotten it to work with Hazard Hackintosh, but don't even know how to install stuff through usb's. Also, maybe you could try to buy an 8.5gb dvdr and burn it on there so it might be better then?

Try this if you haven't, I'm assuming this method will work on usb Hackintosh too even if yours is not Hazard Hackintosh.

This is how I installed my Hazard Hackintosh Snow leopard 10.6.6i on my computer. I had to use ModCd to get Hazard Hackintosh to even work on my computer. Then I had to swap discs press the F5 button so it could read Hazard Hackintosh 10.6.6i disc. Then I typed in the
boot command -v -x -f cpus=1 busratio=20 arch=i386 (I do 32 bit Mac because for whatever reason if I do arch=x86_64 it won't even recognize it and will still just automatically install the 32 bit version of Mac).

Don't mind the fact that it is not using all your cpus, it is the only way to get the install to work for whatever reason. Later on we can go into System Preferences and Chameleon and change it back to 4 cores or 2 cores. I don't know how many cores you have but most people have 2 or 4 cores.

My busratio is 20, I do not know what yours is. I'm on Amd Phenom II X4 965 black edition 3.4ghz. You might need to google to find out which busratio will be best for you.
