Installing on Dell Dimension 8200

Does anybody know of a tutorial of how to install snow leopard on my dell dimension 8200 pentium 4 series? NOT USING A HACKED DISTRO BECAUSE I HAVE THE $30 DISC. I've searched around everywhere, so far I like http://prasys.info/2009/08/installin...ard-for-osx86/ but when I boot the computer (using plop bootloader to boot from usb) i keep getting a

Be sure to make the proper volume active with fdisk, could solve the problem in regards to bootloader.

Some PCs simply can't boot properly from USB devices, such as my AMD computer so you could try burning to a disc.
