I think ur machine is okay for SL.

To date you've posted, lets look at any other post related to "ES2LKit", read it and get some USB stick and explore the possibilities.

Its not that difficult -- normally noob will only take 2 days exploring and voila it works. I had successfully installed on GUID and MBR with above readings
