Did you put the patched compiled DSDT.aml in /Extra or in the partition's root?
Also why it doesnt work? There could be many reasons why SL doesnt boot apart from missing a patched DSDT. AsRock P45TS | C2D E8200 | GeForce 8600GTS Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1 + Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7600 + Fedora 11 |

You may have found the issue described here.
Try to fix it with kext mentioned there or if you have the sec. IDE channel disabled try to re-enable it in the BIOS. AsRock P45TS | C2D E8200 | GeForce 8600GTS Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1 + Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7600 + Fedora 11 |
