Possible to Install Snow Leopard 10.6
I was wondering if i could install snow leopard on my dell inspiron 531s here are some specs that are currently on my dell with mac os x 10.5.8 leopard (LEO4AllV3) Processor, Sempron, LE-1300, 2.3 512K, 1C, G2 Hard Drive, 160GB, S2, 7.2K, 8M Unleaded, WD-SEQ 4GB RAM Graphic Processor NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE and Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported So would you recommend upgradeing and if so how?? retail or with some other distro? |

I dont see any reason why SL would not work, other than the IGP. I have never seen anything showing that the 6150 would work, you could buy an 8600 for $30.
