I read this article on how to prepare a usb drive with a retail snow leopard disc. Problem is, it needs a MAC. Which defeats the entire hackintosh purpose, right?

I have a functional 10.5.7 iAtkos disc that maybe can work like windows p.e., I can use the terminal to modify the usb drives??

Another problem is that I dont got 2 dvd drives, so I cant use the iatkos disc to rip the snow leopard disc.
If thats the case, can I use ubuntu to rip the snow leopard disc? I mean lucid lynx.


PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!
