I am trying to install SL on my GA-P35-DS3R.

I am at the stage where I have formatted the HDD and started installing SL.

I get the "select language" drop down, then the Register with Apple (Or similar) screen which I am bypassing with the esc key, then I get a screen with "Voice Over Quick Start"

pressing continue or esc just gives me the whirling coloured disk then it freezes. Only a reboot will resolve and I end up back at the select language drop down

Any ideas how to resolve?

The short answer is DONT esc past the registration screen as this opens the VoiceOver screen. I think that the freeze is due to my system not yet having working audio.
