SnowOSX Universal v3.5 10.6GM 10A432
Hey There :
I have got this ISO coz it's smaller than 6.5GB and many said it works fine. Well I currently have Leo 10.5.8 by iDeneb installed. I was wondering how to install this Distro ? I opened the DVD up in Finder and saw many folders inside with many many packages inside ... I know not what to do. My Rig is SSE3 capable but NOT x64bit and has 3 IDE Hard drives 1 SATA Drive and 1 IDE DVD Drive and is a full blown Intel PC with a Single Core PiV HT 2.8Ghz CPU and an Intel D865 PERL Mobo with no Network card, although I have 3 PCi Network Cards 1 Realtek 10/100, 1 Realtek Gigabit Lan and 1 D-Link 10/100 Nic. The PC also has 4GB DDR1 800Mhz RAM ! I really don't want to loose my current Leo installation if anything should go wrong. I thought I had a seperate SATA drive but it seems that S.M.A.R.T thing on that drive is corrupt. So please a descent enough n00bie guide would do great. Thanks. Thank You. i imagine if you made a separate partition, set it to active, then installed under the partition format that you have(mdr/guid) that it wouldn't impact anything else.

EDIT #1 : OK I have an empty IDE drive. What Type should I format it with, coz I am getting reboots when I try booting from DVD EDIT #2 : I installed it from within a Leo install now in Chameleon I select it but it freezes on Apple Logo, -v, -f, -x and cpus=1 don't work Last edited by TechXero; 11-01-2009 at 01:29 PM. |

Don't Install from Leo just burn the .ISO file and procede normally. If you install from leo then you will have problems later. Install on a GUID patition sceme made by the install DVD .iso you burned, PM me for more info.
