Successfull install with iATKOS S3 v2 on HP ProBook 4520s but not booting up

Hi All..I have installed SL & I took pics step by step.
Machine: HP ProBook 4520s, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD
Processor: Intel i5 M 460 2.53Ghz
Image Used: iATKOS S3 v2 (MD5 hash checked)
Installation successful with this boot flag: -v arch=i386 busratio=17

And when the Installation finished I rebooted my laptop with nawcom modcd.

Then selected my SL Harddrive and bootup with this Bootflag:
-v -f arch=i386 busratio=17

Following screen messages are attached as well. Pics are marked from 1-13 (as it happened).

I did not upload pics here as all pics are uploaded in another forum.

My Problem is very well documented here:

Hi,

I got a solution for you I figured out today for my probook 4720s core i5 2,67 Ghz. Finally it's working. Think it's almost the exact hardware (incl. Chipset, PCIe and so on)

So this is how I did it:

-Boot from iatkos S3 V2 with flags -v busratio=18 (think it's the same for you)
-Select:
--anval loader
--whole USB section (to fix the problems)
--apple PS2 - DO NOT SELECT ALSO THE VOODOO AS THIS DOES NOT WORK!!!!
--SELECT the modified kernel qoopz 10.6.3 - this makes it
--Select USB fix
--Select your hardware kext drivers

Wait for the install to complete. Restart. boot with the same flags as above

And...voilla...it's working including the keyboard and the trackpad

Now adjust the graphics - the system knows it's accelerated graphics but you have to change the res to 1600x900 in my case so:

Go to terminal and navigate to:

/Library/Prefrences/SystemConfiguration/

All you have to do is edit the com.apple.Boot.plist and add two lines there

type:

sudo su
your password
cd /
cd /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
nano com.apple.Boot.plist
------------
editor opens the configuration file, add these two lines (up your config):
<key>Graphics Modes</key>
<string>1600x900x32</string>
------------
ctrl+x
y
enter
Reboot
And it should boot back in native accelerated res.
Currently I'm working on the USBs - this does not work properly...after you retsart there should be a conflict or sth, so I will be soon back

Hope this helps you sort it out! Corssed fingers!! :-)

Cheers

Hey!

Got hack for USB functionality!

Just remove appleHPET.kext from:

/System/Library/Extensions/

And IT WORKS! All 4 of them! (one eSATA)

So only the wifi remains. Because everything else works perfect.

Here is how to get atheros AR9285 to WORK!

1. DOWNLOAD THIS FILE http://uploading.com/files/94fm2e33/...mily.kext.zip/
2. Use kext helper b7, or kext utility to install kext.
3.Fix permissions if using kext helper b7. Dont worry about fixing permissions if using kext utility(it does it automatically)
4.reboot
5.Now you have working Airport
