The light of usb device doesn't turn off after eject.

Hello.
I am using Snow Leopard 10.6.2 64bit.

Does Snow Leopard never turn off the light of usb device after ejecting?

When I click 'Eject' to any usb devices, the light of the device does not turn off.
On the other hands, the light turns off after I click 'Safely remove device' in Windows XP and Ubuntu Karmic.

I want to know whether it is normal in Snow Leopard.
Please let me know about it.

Thank you.

Yes it is normal on many USB drives - maybe it shouldn't be like that, but it's often the case. Dont worry about it, mine does the same As long as the OS doesn't warn you about removing it without eject, you'll be fine.
