excuse me, but where can I find this PIIX2 ?

of course, I assume it's not 64-bit ...

edit: I found it by myself ...

what's the basic difference between PIIXATA & PIIXATA2 ?

If you see the info.plists of two kexts, you may know about the differences.

At last I succeeded in installing 10a432 with SATA Mode - Enhanced.
I used the AppleIntelPIIXATA2.kext in iATKOSv7 and sk1nhd33t`s guide ( http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/guide...31m-es2l-t3672 )

o 64bit mode ( no work )

- AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext ( netkas )
o 32bit mode ( no work)

- IOATAFamily.kext ( The Edge3000 )

o 32bit mode ( work ) ( sata port 1, 2 + 8600gt + sound + internet )
o 64bit mode ( a little work ) ( sata port 1, 2 + no 8600gt + no sound + no internet )

I hope that you will make a new AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext with your IOATAFamily.kext and the AppleIntelPIIXATA2.kext of iATKOSv7,

KP in both modes with The Edge's ioata.
Netkas' ioata works fine in -32 mode.

@ good4man - What exactly are you asking? All I did was add the device IDs from the info.plist in PIIXATA. It's simple enough that anyone can do it.
