You've got nForce chipset mobo - you need to select an according driver to make your southbridge work properly - if you did so it might be the "more than 2GB RAM issue" - try maxmem=2000 bootflag. :)

one with 500GB and another with 1 TB it doesn't detect 500GB SATA II but it can detect another 1 TB SATA II (Windows Installed in it) i plan to use 500GB SATA II for Hackintosh. B4 iATKOS V7 can detect but now it can't it's same for all distros, none can detect 500GB SATA II In bios i set it to ACHI>IDE too, but still cannot detect. need help |
This distro is supposed to be intala directly from DVD without the need to have a version already running on Mac OS pc?

SO, go into Leopard and access the Snow Leopard partition. Then go to System/Library/Extensions. Take the kext from the attached zip file and drop it into the Extensions directory and replace. Then reboot into Snow Leopard and all SHOULD work correctly. Edit: For those who don't have Leopard on another partition - when installing from the disk, custimize the install and find the "IOATAFAMILY Fix" and make sure it is selected. This will make sure you don't get a kernel panic becuase of the kext. |
cant get past boot
