Hmmm there's already ApplePS2Keyboard.kext in Rev2 DVD.

If it's not compatible with your laptop keyboard I don't know how I can include both ...

Unless the kext for laptop keyboard is compatible with "normal" PS2 keyboard.

Rockybt18 will be able to answer as soon as Bonkey give him the access to the ftp.

Install was fine but when finishes and reboot "HFS partition error" & the second time "b0 error", I hve installed from a spare partition, maybe that is the problem. IŽll try from DVD

Using GUID ?

prateesh 01-25-2008 09:29 PM

Ok No problem ....
If this solution work for me then i will take care of that on my sys
as its very specific problem with my laptop only :)

Thanks for your consideration

roisoft 01-25-2008 09:30 PM

Yes

zephyroth 01-25-2008 09:31 PM

Ok Roisoft ... I didn't test partition with GUID yet, so I don't know what's wrong in my script. You should take a look at it and see if you can fix.
It's located in Packages/Bootloader/FixGUID.pkg on the DVD.

roisoft 01-25-2008 09:34 PM

ok, i think that the problem is unmounting the disk and boot0

zephyroth 01-25-2008 09:37 PM

Unmounting is needed to use startupfiletool.

For changing it no need to use Pacifist or to recreate a pkg. Just edit like this :

In terminal:

nano /path-to-the-Image/System/Installation/Packages/Bootloader/FixGUID.pkg/Contents/Resources/postinstall

Do your modification and save.
