@zephiroth : Does 10.5.2 have some support dor SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) controler and disks ?

I cannot find my disks on a SAS powered computer..

It's a 2 x "dualcore Opteron 2000 series" with a Nvidia FX5500.. and I would be happy to run leo on it..

You can try with this Files
/system/library/systemprofiler (backup the others)

edit : didn´t work

Hey Zephyroth First I want to say your installations are perfect, really really good! 10.5.1 is amazing great job! I was just wondering one quick question on 10.5.2, how big of a file do you think it's going to be once it's done? And are you going to make two? Meaning those of us that have 10.5.1 zeph amd already installed and working doing just a straight update vs's a full installation of 10.5.2. Does that make sense? Sorry if it does not. Thanks again. Keep up the great work!

There's a 10.5.2 update floating around on TPB, you need EFI installed to load the 9.2.0 kernel though. Check the wiki for instructions on installing kernel.

[cite] zephyroth:[/cite]Yeah same for me but you can check if the 2 cores are correctly detected by typing "sysctl -a" in Terminal (for me yes, it's just that it doesn't appear in System Profiler)
Also in Activity Monitor in Applications/Utilities you can check the 2 cores working differently meaning that YES it has Dual Core capacity

roisoft 02-15-2008 10:12 PM

open a terminal and type "sysctl -a" you will see the correct 2 cores report, it´s only something "stetic"

I just ran the HUD applet (crap, can't remember the name!) It showed both cores working and throttling properly, just like they did before...

Hey damnesia thanks yea I saw that on TPB but I think I will wait for zeph's 10.5.2 AMD. I'm hoping with his I can get my sound working it's Conexant HIGH DEF Audio if anybody's know anything I'd appreciate it. And also my trackpad and keyboard which worked during installation but not after. Thanks.

Your trackpad is most likely PS2 so you need the PS2 kexts in the wiki. If you find out the exact model of your conexant audio I'm sure there's a kext out there that will work for you. Simple to install. If you have a usb keyboard/mouse on hand use that to install the necessary kexts.
