My MacOSXUpdate10.5.4.pkg (ASU Modified) is 78.4 MB, not sure what the original was...

Anyone can confirm that the kernel will be updated to 9.4.0?

No, it's still 9.3.0 on my system. I replaced the Dock and the Finder and now it's working again. But I must admit I had a modified Finder.
