I changed my mobo from an asus nforce one to a gigabyte amd 790x one.
Other distros did not work for me with this setup, this did though! ;)


My specs:
CPU: Athlon x2 6000+
GFX: ATI HD3870 passive {Sapphire Ultimate} (only VESA so far*)
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4
AMD 790x / SB600 (Yes)
Sound: ALC889A (Yes)
LAN: Realtek 8111B (Yes)

* The gfx-card did not work before, even with different kexts...
But i will try again with this install

EDIT: GFX is running as well, but not with DVD drivers (had to delete kext)
