Haha Snow4All sounds neat. The only thing I really like about Snow Leopard so far is stacks. I'm really looking forward to what the OSX86 community will be able to pull off =D

What is everyone else wanting to see in snow leopard (concerning features)?

oneshot 04-08-2009 10:43 PM

Not to get to off topic but; do you not have iLife 09 installed or something? If the reason is because you don't have 10.5.6, I have a solution to installing it without having to update =)

xXrkidXx 04-09-2009 12:30 AM

i tried your way but it didnt work for me... i had the full 4.3GB DMG DVD installer. I couldn't get the mpkg or pkg

oneshot 04-09-2009 12:47 AM

Hm? Are you talking about the package I posted to get to 10.5.5? Or my guide on fakeing your OSX version #?

I have no idea lol but it doesn't matter, I already wiped the HD, oh well :\ Ill just install iPC and redownload it, if iPC will stop being so douchey towards my comp lol xD

as long as im booting OS X idc lol, and thanks and im burning this thing so slow, i hope i dont make a coaster instead of an install disc xD

its not hard to update to 10.5.6 just use ANV kernel and download the update from apple and install the update just have ANV kernel renamed to mach_kernel.b or something and boot with that and it will update than just rename it back to mach_kernel. I don't understand why people are having such a hard time updating to 10.5.6. I was bored yesterday and I installed 10.5.2 and used ANV 9.6.0 kernel and updated to 10.5.6 without any problems. So if you want to use iLife09 just update to 10.5.6

i replaced my kernel and it wouldn't boot so not so easy.
