You might find a fix in this thread, it has a few possible solutions involving the bios.

Are you booting from a SATA disk? Try setting the SATA as AHCI in the BIOS and you should be able to boot from it.

I think the one you are looking for is:-

Intel AHCI SATA

Have a try with that one and let me know if it works.
