If you don't want to pirate OS X, you can also create a custom 132 bootloader cd for your system, that makes you able to make use of a retail DVD, but that's a bit more pretentious... ;)

But dear Friend how to create the custom bootloader CD for my Hardware
MY hardware config is as follows
AMD PHENOM TRI-CORE 8650 processor
ASUS M3N78-EM Mother Board
4GB DDR2 PC800 RAM
500GB Hitachi SATA HDD
Onboard GEFORCE8300

Thanking you in anticipation

Most up-to-date OSx86 Distros are Universal ones that work on most hardware - the more your configuration is very easy - so just get one out of the latest releases, like iAtkos v7, iPC PPF5 or something like that.

Read about it here:

You maybe will also need to add a kext file for making OS X work on your nForce Chipset..

Yeah but HOW?

Yeah but how to add a Kext file in an installation ???? I never understood this!

And I don't understand, why the hell you should be forced to do so?!
I don't see any reason for that...

What OSX with my Hardware

MBD - MSI G45 Digital (MS-7521)
Chipset - P45/P43
SB - Intel 82801JR (ICH10/R)
CPU - Q8200 Quad Core
Instructions - MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1 EMT64T
Video - GeForce 9800 GT
Memory – 4096

I've tried to load iDeneb 1.4 on it and it would go through and stop on restart. So i've tried 1.6 and i get a Kernel Panic on the start of the installation. I'm waiting for a friend to give me a version of iAtkos that will work on my hardware. Do you foresee any problems with the hardware as stated above.
What i have seen is that the Graphics card only registers 14mb (VESA 14mb (nVIDIA)) just before the installation starts. (It does see it as 512 in the POST of the machine.)
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Werner

PS. Just added my hardware to the SIG

Hello,

I have a HP Pavillon 8150 Dual Core 2,8 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 64 bits capable, with NVidai graphic card EN8800 GT. I run Leopard 10.5.8 on it without any problem with a mach.kernel.voodoo.

I would like to know is if this computer is capable of running SL (a dual core). I tried to install it once, but after the boot, I got just the Apple icon without the spinning wheel.

Thank you for your answer.

I am a little concerned that when i boot, Darwin reports the following
VESA 3.0 14MB (NVIDIA). As far as i can gather that is reporting the video memory wich is supposed to be 512, not 14. Any ideas on that ?
Regards
W

Actually, I didn't found any other solutions so... Maybe others distributions are out? Can someone tell me one distribution that may work with my computer?

Thanks!
